This time, we asked yawarakai hitotachi, a Oriental and Exotic band from Nagoya, which reached No. 1 on the College Chart on December 26, to answer three questions for us!
◇Three questions
When and why did you start your music career?
The first encounter was in the light music club at university, and after retiring, Vo.Takeda gathered a group of people who seemed soft and formed the band.
Please tell us about some of your influences.
I think this song was influenced by Haruomi Hosono, yonlapa, Ochibito, and Summer Salt from the tropical period.

Please tell us what we should pay attention to in your chart-topping song "exotic asia".
I think it's interesting that the low-pitched vocals ride well on the gorgeous jazz chord-like progression.
I hope people will enjoy the exotic Asian feeling while swaying on 16. vai yai ya.....

yawarakai hitotachi
Formed in 2017, Yawarakai Hitotachi is a Nagoya indie band with oriental, asia and exotic atmosphere.
They released a self-titled mini-album at the end of 2019, and will release two consecutive singles in spring 2021. EP "Exotic Asia" will be released in the fall of the same year.
