1. "Piercing"(2019) Nariakira Kobukuro

This is the second album by a Japanese living in the UK. Honestly, I've been listening to this 90% of the time since its release a year and a half ago. The sound and lyrics are so complete as one album that it fits every situation and I discover more and more with each listen. I still can't forget the excitement I felt when I first heard it at midnight on the day of its release, and I'm still impatiently waiting for Oburo's new album and live performances every day. The previous album, "Seppukuha no Natsu" produced by Hikaru Utada, is also a great album. If you haven't heard it, listen to both of them right now.
2. "ai qing"(2018)KID FRESINO

This is the third album by the Japanese rapper. I was drawn in by the variety of guest appearances and new sound approaches, and belatedly started digging hip-hop from this album. The first track "Coincidence" is so good that I tend to listen to it all the time, but it's a great album. I think it's really cool that Fleshino is trying to expand both Japanese music and hip-hop, just like the other albums that came out this year.
3. "eureka"(2013)Mushroom Empire

Each person's favorite Mushroom Empire album is probably different, and I think they're all good, but I'd have to say this one. The aggressive guitar sound, strongly driven by negative emotions, is like another band from the days of "Chronostasis". The last song and the hidden track are also good. As a side note, there is a "weathering classroom" made by a high school student on YouTube. The last song and the hidden track are also good. As a side note, the video for "Weathering Classroom" made by high school students on YouTube is really good.
4. "RADWIMPS 4~Okazu no Gohan~"(2006)RADWIMPS

Radwimps is what made me fall in love with music. I haven't listened to it in a long time, and it reminds me of when I was in junior high school. I went to Tsutaya and put it on my Walkman and listened to it.
5. "monkey girl odyssey"(2001)DREAMS COME TRUE

I've been listening to this album since I was a baby, and I know all the albums well, because my mother only played Dorikam at home. This is the album I like the most, and the version of "24/7" that I coupled with zeebra in 2000 is still super cool to listen to now. I especially like the flow of the last three songs on this album.
6. "A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships"(2018)The 1975

This is the third album by a British band. It's been called the OK Computer of the new generation, and I have a feeling it's going to be treated as a great album decades from now. It's cool that the lyrics are super difficult and about social issues in this stylish way. The album seems to have a lot of different songs, but there is an underlying sense of unity around the jacket. I can relate to the last song from the title. I went to Korea before Corona and got to see them do a one-man show, which was a great memory.
7. "Blonde"(2016)Frank Ocean

This is the second album by the American SSW. My friend told me that a great album is good from the first note of the first song, and that's exactly what this is. The overall feel of the sound and the development of "Pretty Sweet" have had a tremendous impact on the R&B world. When I listened to it recently, I felt that "Nights" had a little bit of Corona Disaster in it. I wonder when they'll release their next album. I wonder when they'll release their next album, and how crazy it'll be.
8. "Lesser Matters"(2003)The Radio Dept.

This is the first album by a Swedish band. It's a rough sounding album with a musical style somewhere between shoegaze and dream pop. I especially like the second track, "Where Damage Isn't Already Done".
9. "What Chaos Is Imaginary"(2019)Girlpool

This is the third album by the LA duo. The guitar sound is a bit languid, and the gentle voices and melody lines are so good that I never get bored of the whole album. It's the kind of thing you listen to while driving on a day when the sky is blue like the cover.
Thank you for seeing this through to the end!
