1.dear prudence/The Beatles

The Beatles are the reason I started playing music, so I've always loved them, and I couldn't decide which song to choose. This song is simple, but as the song develops, there are many overlapping sounds, but they don't get in the way. It's a great learning experience.
2.new rose/damned

I didn't really like punk until I was in high school. I thought it was just simple and uninteresting music that anyone could do, but when I heard this song, I was struck by the destructive power of the simple riffs and the feeling of wanting to jump out of bed with my body temperature rising from the inside. The mv is super cool, so check it out.
3.fade away/The Roosters

I first heard of the Roosters when I was in high school, and my impression when I first heard them was that they were like the early Rolling Stones with a touch of punk. This song is one of the Roosters' most forward grooving and straightforward songs, so I think anyone can easily get used to it. No subs, so go to the record store!
4.beast of burden/Rolling Stones

I think that bands can be roughly divided into two types: the Beatles type and the Stones type. I'm not saying that one is better than the other, but for example, I think Beatles songs are great no matter who covers them, but I feel that Stones songs are often disappointing when played by others. This song is no different, and I think only these guys could have played it with such a relaxed and tasteful performance that you would think they were drunk. Listen to it while taking a walk in the evening and you'll be soaked!
5.beautiful delilah/chuck berry

Chuck Berry is one of the founders of rock 'n' roll. He has many famous songs like Johnny B. Goode and Carol, but this is the one I like the most. The appeal is the joy of the rhythm. The appeal of this song is the joy of the rhythm; it's like you're about to reach from country to rock and roll. I've been listening to it almost every day since I was a freshman in college.
6.Chuo Freeway/Yumi Arai

I don't remember exactly how I came across this song, but I've always liked it very much. Every time I listen to it, I am impressed by how fashionable music was in Japan in the 70s. I used to listen to it when I was driving alone at night, but since I sold my car, I haven't listened to it lately. I highly recommend it to anyone who has a car.
7.No car, no phone, but / Unicorn

Tamio Okuda of Unicorn is one of the musicians who inherited the Beatles-ism, and I have loved him since I was in junior high school. I chose this song because it sounds like the Beatles (laughs). It has a melody line with few ups and downs, which is typical of Tamio Okuda, but it has a pop sense that explodes in the chorus! That's how I feel.
8.I will survive/cake

It's hard to explain the word "groove" in concrete terms, but instead of words, I'll answer, "Listen to this song! Instead of words, I'll answer, "Listen to this song! It's a mass of groove. It's not like rap, but I can't really explain it, so I'd like you to listen to it anyway.
9.cream soda / Supercar

This is a coming-of-age song for me. I don't like to get too emotionally involved in music because I enjoy the sound, not the lyrics, but every time I listen to this song, I get lost in my memories and feel sad. It's a very good song. I don't have anything special to say about it musically.
Thank you for seeing this through to the end!
