Synapse is a three-piece band based in Fukuoka, Japan.
They're a twin-vocal band!
This time, CRJAFUKUOKA asked them to answer three questions about their music, which was also number one on the college charts dated November 28th!

◇Three questions
When and why did you start your music career?
I think it was in high school that I started my music career in earnest. We were classmates at the same high school, and at the time we were in a five-piece band called Poncy Aglet (we were all on the soccer team, and that's where it all started), and then a guitarist and drummer who wanted to sing formed a three-piece band called Synapse with a pianist. From there, a guitarist and a drummer who wanted to sing formed a three-piece band, Synapse, with a pianist. Our first live performance was in our second year of high school. Since then, we have been active.
Who are some of the artists that have influenced you?
Personally, I'm influenced by Takashi Ikeda and Kazuha Izawa. Recently, I've been impressed by the straightforward approach to music of plastic plastic from Thailand, and I've been studying them.
Please tell us what you want us to pay attention to in the chart-topping song "Gen".
I wrote this song about five years ago, and it is a bit sentimental, as I was at a sentimental age at the time. I'm both happy and embarrassed to hear that people have appreciated this song. Thank you very much. It was a good opportunity for me to rethink my sentimental self at that time.
