<This week's 1st place>
"Dirac Sea" / Lil Summer
The first single by Lil Summer, a SSW/DJ from Fukuoka, Japan!
With a calm track and her clear voice, this song brings to mind a scene where time flows slowly at the end of summer.
She has a strong connection with fans and artists overseas, and I look forward to her future success! (Yanatatsu)
<This week's chart entries>
"Still Can't Find It" / uku kasai
From "SIINA", the first EP released by uku kasai from Maltine Records.
It sounds different from others in that you can feel a big flow like a desert, which is also the theme of the song, in the clear vocals and the way the sound is packed into the space.
This is a work that makes you want to listen to all four tracks.
"American Pie" / Furate
Furate is a four-piece band based in Yamaguchi City.
The band is said to be influenced by Pavement and other bands, but it's amazing how they keep a perfect balance between the sway of the sound and the distance between songs throughout the whole album! I think the content is rather heavy, but the use of sound makes it easy to listen to, which I like.
I think this band will spread like Wool & The Pants...? This is a band that I feel will spread like Wool & The Pants.
"Lassen feat. Kiyomaru Togo" / Shinichi Nakayama
This is the first album by illustrator and rapper Shinichi Nakayama.
It's a very cool album with a relaxed atmosphere that can be felt from the jacket that he drew, and a sound that has the essence of city pop!
I'd love to listen to it in the morning ☀️.
